The Global Sleepover – education and literacy, children issues The Global Sleepover is a digitally enhanced interactive children's story series about four characters that go on sleepovers all over the world and learn about global collaboration and 21st Century diplomacy. After all, who doesn’t love a sleepover? Each title is a fun children’s story about a sleepover adventure in a new global location and contains a specific learning outcome in global competency. All content is designed for digital delivery and with an equal focus on education, entertainment and digital engagement (the Three “E”’s). Website: www.globalsleepover.com There are four types of interns who work on a variety of projects. Creative Interns work with book design, illustration, and writing. Education and Literacy Interns design and research content for global competency learning outcomes, and develop an age-focused curriculum for global compentency. International Development and Corporate Social Responsibility Interns work on project implementation of international development programs to improve basic reading skills and can include strategy development, USAID/UNICEF proposal writing, monitoring and evaluation, and outreach. Business Interns focus general business development, networking, partner facilitation, market research, trend analysis, financial projections, and marketing, PR, and social media. Thriev – energy (updated) Thriev is a London-based venture working in alternative transport and clean energy. It’s a new model of transportation that uses electirc vehicles and urban planning to increase efficiency and reduce congestion. Interns can work on project related to business development, finance/ accounting, web development, marketing/ sales, relationship building, and clean energy/urban planning.
