Clive Reynolds & Lynne Caley Description of Course: This interactive workshop, spread out over several sessions, will equip managers and senior team members with innovative tools and techniques for the preparation, planning and implementation of people development for the optimisation of business performance. Objectives: To provide an appreciation of the links between strategic planning, people development, innovation, technology transfer, and business performance. To introduce a set of four core complimentary tools that together make a cycle: i) strategic planning for people development ( Competitive Capability Framework ) ii) locating gaps in organisational and managerial capability ( Diagnostic ) iii) choice of learning options for developing capability ( Learning Design Specification ) iv) measuring the impact of learning on business performance (BILI) Date from when workshop can be run?
