“The Day After Tomorrow:
The Future of Economic Policy in the Developing World”
Speaker: Dr. Marcelo Guigale
Director of Poverty Reduction & Economic Management, the World Bank
Dr. Giugale’s lecture will cover key findings from a study
about the landscape of development policy in the aftermath of
the global recession. This study highlights transformations in
the economic thinking about future prosperity in the Global
South.
AU Department of Economics Chair Robert Blecker and
CLALS Director Eric Hershberg will follow with a
commentary and the moderation of a question and answer
session.
