Visit to the Royal Library Stockholm on the 21 of May 2014
Prior to the workshop I went to the Royal Library in Stockholm to look at manuscript by Samuel
Buschenfelt on silk throwing in 17th century Dutch Republic. This was in relation to a request by John
Styles to translate a report by a Swedish scholar Samuel Bushenfelt. The manuscript in the Royal
Library contained some detailed illustrations and was a neater script compared to what Styles had
provided me with.
