Olaseni is a Legal and Regulatory Counsel with a real time experience and a proven track record of success in commercial market sectors. He currently works with Ericsson in Hub West and Central of its Region Sub-Saharan Africa (RSSA), where he is charged with coordinating the regulatory affairs of the business and pro-actively engaging government, policy makers and regulators on behalf of the business. Since his call to the Nigerian bar and prior to joining Ericsson, he has had several years working experience in legal practice with core competencies in litigation, corporate practice, land & property law, commercial law, criminal law and tort. Olaseni moved to the Aviation Industry where he provided Legal, Company Secretarial and Business advisory services. In 2005 he joined MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd where he was responsible for managing regulatory risk with a focus on Interconnection, support to the Network Group and Finance Departments, as well as regulatory interface. An Alumnus of the University of Lagos and the Nigerian Law School, he has partaken in several self-development initiatives including the now popular wealth creation NGO, the Fate Foundation’s, Aspiring Entrepreneur’s Program. In addition to the Nigerian Bar Association, he is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA). Olaseni is a strong, pro-active team leader and player, and is adept at providing coaching, support, mentoring and the creation of an enabling work environment for team mates to build cohesive and efficient units that strive to achieve individual targets and group objectives. He is result-oriented and focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. He is married with two children and names reading, travelling, football, current affairs and social discourse among several of his interests. He enjoys working with young people and charity projects.
