UC Davis MIND Institute researchers and clinicians are hard at work to discover new treatments and the causes of neurodevelopmental disorders. This important research cannot be done without you!
Who can participate?
We need participants of all ages, infants, pre-school and school-aged children, teens and adults
Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD), Chromosome 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, and
Down Syndrome
Individuals who are typically developing
What should I expect?
This varies from study to study, but may include:
Research assessments by a team of professionals using a range of methods including standardized assessments, IQ and behavioral testing
Gain access to experimental treatments that are only available to research study participants
You may get a picture taken of your brain (fMRI or MRI scans)
What else can be expected?
Results of research assessments, as well as feedback on your child’s development
Contributing to advancing science and improving the health of future generations
