As Hospital Counsel for the UC Davis Health System, Anna Orlowski provides legal
consultation related to telemedicine, managed care contracting, business contracts, and
Medicare/Medi-Cal issues. Ms. Orlowski is a licensed attorney in California, Oregon and
Washington, and has worked in the areas of professional and general liability as well as complex
business litigation for nine years. Ms. Orlowski received her bachelor’s degree from the
University of California, Los Angeles, and her juris doctor from the University of Pacific,
McGeorge School of Law. As technological advances increase the quality and accessibility of
health care, it becomes increasingly necessary for medical facilities to maintain an
understanding of the legal implications of these new developments. Ms. Orlowski has been a
valuable resource in developing the UC Davis Center for Health and Technology.
