Note by the Chairman of Working Group on the Valletta Action Plan
CONCLUSIONS OF THE SECOND MEETING OF THE WORKING GROUP ON THE
VALLETTA ACTION PLAN, MARCH 26, 1998.
The meeting created 4 Sub-Working Groups as follows:
1.
Sub-Working Group on Valletta Declaration to be convened by Mr. Ronald Azzopardi
Caffari (Malta), PH 284. Secretarial support to be provided by M. Calvano, PH 1169;
Ad Hoc Meeting planned at Vassalli Hall on Saturday, 28.03.98 from 1400 to
1700 hours.
2.
Sub-Working Group on the programmes of the Action Plan to be convened by
Mr. Bernard-Henri Rouxeville (France), PH 1111. Secretarial support to be provided by
P. Kantchev, PH 1187;
Two Ad Hoc Meetings planned at La Cassiere on 27.03.98 from 1530 to 1800 hours.
And at Vassalli Hall on 28.03.98 from 1700 to 1830 hours.
3.
Sub-Working Group on the methodology of emphasizing major issues to be convened by
Ms Noriko Kinoshita (Japan), PH 59. Secretarial support to be provided by M. Calvano,
PH 1169;
4.
Sub-Working Group on the ITU Strategic Plan (doc.75) to be convened by Mr.
N. Kisrawi, PH 422 and Mr. Sanatan, CTU, PH192 both assisted by Messrs. J. Gilbert,
PH 1219 and Mr. M. Calvano , PH 1169. Ad Hoc Meeting planned at Vassalli Hall
on 28.03.98 from 0930 to 1300 hours
