My name is Tristine Bates; I was born in Rockville, Connecticut. I was the 3 rd
of 5 children born to Corrinne and Jack Dunn. I was the 3 rd to go to college in my family, and the 2 nd
nurse in my family. I graduated from FSC/CSUF in 1978. I obtained BSN/PHN degree and MBA at California State University, Fresno. I remarried David Bates and we have 5 children, Garen Bates a Cement Truck Driver (35), Jonathan Bates Construction
Engineering Journeyman (33), Justin Lynch (29) CSUF Student & Asst. Mgr., Annalise
Lynch-Minks (26) San Joaquin Valley College student studying to be surgical tech., Kari
Bates (24) a student at Fresno City College, and Mikal Bates (21) is unemployed.
