Briefly tell about your family history:
My name is Mori Hobin I was born in Santa Cruz, CA. I was the oldest of 3
children born to Maurice & Georganne Sampson. I was the only child to go
to college in my family, and the 1st nurse in my family. I graduated from
FSC/CSUF in 1976. I obtained my BS Degree. I married Frank Hobin; we
have 3 children Angela age 19, Danny 17, and Jayne 13. I worked at
Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz.
Short Nursing BIO: Tell us about your Nursing career since graduation
and further education you may have received:
I worked in the area of critical care from the time of my graduation in 1976
until 1988, when I quit working to raise my children. I worked at the
Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz for 2 years, Westlake community
Hospital for 3 years, the hospital in Rock springs, Wyoming for a year and
returned to Westlake CH for 1 year and then at Mercy Hospital in
Bakersfield for 5 years. I earned a CCRN twice and was ACLS certified.
