CONSTRUCTION ROUNDTABLE OF NEW JERSEY (CRT-NJ)
The Construction Roundtable of New Jersey was established to act as a network to inform, educate, and
promote the Owner's appreciation and understanding of the forces within the construction industry,
which ultimately affect costs. Executives representing major corporations in New Jersey formed the
CRT-NJ, formerly the North Jersey Construction Users Council, in 1970. The CRT-NJ is a Local User
Council (LUC) affiliated with the Construction Committee of the National Business Roundtable. There
are approximately 40 active Independent LUC's throughout the United States.
The CRT-NJ develops programs and presents speakers which inform the members not only of the
current findings and recommendations of the Business Roundtable, the CICE and CII task forces, but
also the current issues facing the construction industry in New Jersey.
