Seeding Rate:
Sorghum x Sudangrass: 125,000 seed/acre in 30" rows.
Millet: 4 lb seed/acre in 30" rows.
Soil Type:
Tifton loamy sand.
Soil Test:
P = High, K = Medium, and pH = 6.0.
Preplant: 50 lb N, 0 lb P 2O5, and 97 lb K 2O/acre.
Fertilization:
Sidedress: 100 lb N/acre, plus 50 lb N/acre after 1st and 2nd harvests.
Previous Crop: Soybean.
Management:
Subsoiled, bedded, and rototilled.
