Average LSD at 10% Level Std. Err. of Entry Mean 1. IVDMD (in vitro dry matter disappearance) is an indicator of quality and is positively related to animal digestibility (higher values indicate higher digestibility). Samples used for IVDMD determination were collected for all entries of a replicated trial at the same state of reproductive development (soft dough). 2. Rated: 1 = resistant to 5 = susceptible to foliar diseases. 3. CV = 17.8% and df for EMS = 33. Bolding indicates entries yielding equal to highest yielding entry within a column based on Fisher's protected LSD (P = 0.10). Planted: May 4, 3004. Harvested: July 21, 2004. Seeding Rate: 150,000 seed/acre in 30" rows. Soil Type: Tifton loamy sand. Soil Test: P = Medium, K = Low, and pH = 6.1. Fertilization: Preplant: 40 lb N, 80 lb P2O5, and 120 lb K2O/acre. Sidedress: 60 lb N/acre. Previous Crop: Wheat. Management: Paratilled, disked, and rototilled; Prowl, Atrazine, and one cultivation used for weed control; Chlorpyrifos used for insect control; Nemacur used for nematode control. Test conducted by A. E. Coy, M. D. Pippin, R. Brooke, and R. Burton.
