Per the recommendation of the accrediting bodies, this combined graduate certificate is to
be terminated and two separate graduate certificates created, one in Oral Medicine and
one in Orofacial Pain. The two separate graduate certificates are listed below.

Methods of Bioexperimentation). INTD571 (Biochemistry) replaces CBY587 (Cell and
Molecular Biology of Craniofacial Tissues). CBY-587 will remain in catalogue, but not
be part of the core. GRE requirements are updated.

Exploration of the transformative power of occupation throughout the lifespan for all
individuals.

2. OT-355x Occupational Reconstructions and Social Transformations (2)
The use of occupations—meaningful, purposeful activities—to restore identity, agency,
health, wellbeing, skills, political power to populations in problematic situations, such as
wars and natural disasters.

Global Medicine

1. Master of Science - Global Medicine
MS, Global Medicine is adding an Advanced Standing option to their program. Students
admitted to advanced standing option may use previous equivalent course work for 8
units of credit toward GM MEDS 503L, Core Principles System I, and GM, MEDS 504L
Core Principles System II, course requirements. The Advanced Standing option allows
students to bypass the foundation coursework and focus on globally-oriented coursework.
