In Mathematics and Science addition, MSTI sponsors paid early field experiences in mathematics Teaching Initiative (MSTI) and science classrooms for undergraduates in partnership with the Office of Teacher Recruitment. Is a university-­‐public school partnership in which future teachers, counselors, social workers, and school psychologists support the Mediator Mentors development of conflict resolution skills with school children. Currently the program is training students, teachers, and administrators in peer mediation and conflict resolution education. To help teachers learn about and use NASA's educational resources. The ERCs are located on or near NASA Field Centers, museums, NASA Educator Resource colleges, or other nonprofit organizations. The ERCs provide Center educators with in-­‐service and pre-­‐service training, demonstrations, and access to NASA instructional products. This credential is under the Multiple Subject Program that also includes students from Special Ed. and Early Childhood Education Theresa Huerta 26 27 28 29 Name of Partnership Teaching Fellows Program Teaching Internship Program Wayfinders Workability IV Description/Purpose Provides support to students through seminars and activities to build leadership and opportunities to work in schools throughout their college career. The program is designed for qualified individuals who have prior classroom experience and who seek an alternative route to obtaining a Preliminary Teaching Credential. Students must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and meet all criteria for admission to a basic credential program. Inclusive postsecondary program for young adults with intellectual -­‐developmental disabilities. Students enroll in the general university courses as well as specialized Wayfinders classes, which support them in academics and independent living skills. Students in the Wayfinders Program live in the Palazzo Apartments at Campus Pointe where the residential component of the program is implemented.
