 The Central California Training Academy (CCTA) has formed a team to support the implementation of Common Core 3.0 (CC3.0) for the region. The purpose of this document is to provide information to county and tribal partners about the team that will assist counties with the planning, implementation, and sustainability of CC3.0. Who is the CCTA CC3.0 Team? The CCTA CC3.0 Team consists of the CC3.0 Project Manager, the Field Activity/Field Advisor Coordinator, the Curriculum Coordinator, Field Based Trainers, Academy Staff Trainers, and Regional Training Coordinators. What can counties expect from the CCTA CC3.0 team? While members of the team will have a specific focus in their work with counties, county and tribal partners can expect each member of the CCTA CC3.0 Team to: • Provide education about CC3.0 • Advocate for county needs related to CC3.0 planning, implementation, and sustainability • Act as a liaison between the county, CCTA, CalSWEC, and CDSS • Support implementation by reaching all levels of the county in communication efforts • Provide information about CC3.0 and refer county partners to the team member who is best able to assist with the county or tribe need – there is no wrong door. The CCTA CC3.0 team is available to help answer questions and identify possible resources to support implementation. • Support counties with field activities and the development of county-­‐specific plans for implementation. • Advocate for tribal inclusion • Support system change within the county system • Help to create a community of practice (i.e. learning circles, webinars, etc.) CCTA CC3.0 Team – May 2015 1 Meet the CCTA CC3.0 Team CC3.0 Project Manager: Joanne Pritchard jpritchard@berkeley.edu 559-­‐287-­‐7738 Role and Responsibilities: • Represent CCTA on Curriculum Development and Oversight Group (CDOG) • Liaison between CCTA leads and CalSWEC on CC3.0 implementation • Coordinate CCTA regional efforts for field, curriculum, and evaluation related to CC3.0 • Develop the regional messages and communication for CC3.0 (provided to counties and / or other identified partners) • Coordinates CC3.0 efforts with Bay Area Academy (BAA) • Provide Updates to CWDA Regional, participation in CWDA regional meetings • Provides updates to Leadership Team • Provide updates to CCTA staff on CC3.0 (quarterly staff meetings) o Overall implementation and county readiness o Field o Curriculum o Evaluation • Coordinates CCTA CC3.0 Team Meetings CC3.0 Field Activities / Field Advisor Coordinator: Judy Rutan jrutan@csufresno.edu 559-­‐731-­‐2613 Role and Responsibilities: • Coordinates efforts with the counties to develop and support capacity for implementation of CC3.0 field activities • Participates in the Field Activity Advisory Group Subcommittee • Work with the counties to support field advisors • Coordinate efforts with the field based trainers to support field advisors in their role with the implementation of field activities within the counties • Coordinates CC3.0 collaboration efforts with BAA related to field work • Provide coaching support for Transfer of Learning (TOL) • Identify / provide support to FBTs to assist county field advisors with field activities • Communicate and coordinate with county staff development CCTA CC3.0 Team – May 2015 2 CC3.0 Curriculum Coordinator: Soledad Caldera-­‐Gammage scaldera@csufresno.edu 559-­‐246-­‐5581 Role and Responsibilities: • Participates in CDOG meetings as a key contributor on behalf of CCTA • Participates in Macro Evaluation Subcommittee Meetings as a contributor on behalf of CCTA • Maintains current Common Core training while planning for CC3.0 curriculum piloting and implementation • Coordinates the replacement of current common core curriculum with CC3.0 curriculum blocks they are made available (include e-­‐learning modules) • Coordinate efforts with staff development to plan for and implement e-­‐
learning courses as part of CC3.0 • Responsible for coordinating and planning CC3.0 pilots with participating counties (inclusive of e-­‐learning and classroom modules) • Coordinates CC3.0 collaboration efforts with BAA related to curriculum (e-­‐
