From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Free Speech Area platform, students will be invited to stop by for a free scoop of Fresno State ice cream and inquire about the different Social Science opportunities. “Many students don’t realize the opportunities they have available to them through the college of Social Science,” said Moses Menchaca, ASI senator of Social Science. “Whether it’s a double-major, a minor, or a certificate, the college provides many courses to study an area of interest.” With over 25 opportunities in the college between major, minors, and certificates, students can earn a second major or minor while taking classes they may already be enrolled in. “These classes are a great way to pick up an extra hobby, learn more about personal interests and buff up a resume,” Menchaca said. Tuesday is reported to be around 92-95 degrees Fahrenheit. Students are encouraged to stop by the Free Speech area and enjoy free ice cream while talking to the clubs and groups that represent the college. ### About ASI at Fresno State: ASI is a body of elected student representatives that encourages student involvement in campuswide decisions and funds student programs.
