(ASI) will be hosting a Turkey Pardoning Ceremony event taking place on Wednesday November 13 from 11:15 a.m. to noon. ASI President Moses R. Menchaca will welcome Chancellor Timothy Peter White, seventh chancellor of California State University, to the Fresno State campus and ask to participate in pardoning ceremony. Turkey Pardoning will take place next to the Free Speech Area in front of the UC Building. Foster Farms has provided turkey for the ceremony in coordination with Fresno State’s Animal Science Department. ASI will provide Fresno State Ice Cream for the Chancellor’s subsequent walk throughout campus. Chancellor White is to have lunch with Fresno State Student Leaders. Fresno State ROTC Cadets, alumni, and other campus entities will also be present. “It is great to see the Chancellor visit his alma mater. We know this will be a memorable campus visit for him as well as the rest of the Fresno State community,” said President Menchaca.
