Resolution Regarding Streaking
Presented to IFC-PHC on April 28th, 2003
To hold each other accountable for our actions, may we enact an anti-streaking
resolution. Streaking is in violation of the Kansas State University Human Rights Code
in that it creates and environment which is intimidating, hostile, and/or offensive for
members of both sexes. This resolution will serve as a quick reminder that streaking is a
form of sexual harassment. Although it is not explicitly included as a violation in the
Human Rights Code, this resolution may remind chapters that it is.
Violations of this resolution will be treated as a violation of the Human Rights
Code and all parties in question will be allowed to present information according to the
hearing process for all Greek Affairs policies. If a chapter is found to be in violation of
this policy, the body of the council will have the freedom to apply whatever punishment
is deemed appropriate according to the violation, including education, probation, fines,
suspension, and withdrawal of university recognition.
