Ensures appropriate patient care is given. Acquires data and performs analysis according to protocol. Performs duties in conjunction with medical faculty and research and clinical coordinators. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: *E/M/NA ______ % TIME ______ Performs quality control and quality assurance assessments on equipment in the PET facility. Initiates service for equipment as needed. ______ ______ Performs image analysis within defined timetables to ensure attainment of turnaround goals. ______ ______ Assists with development of technical protocols. Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Ensures that operations are maintained in accordance with Radiological Health and Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations standards. ______ ______ Maintains supplies within clinical portion of operations to ensure adequate inventory. ______ ______ Maximizes the use of PET equipment and the quality of PET procedures. Develops and proposes new operational algorithms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
