Youth Service Worker 1 – Part Time, On‐Call (2 open) Perform on‐call relief service to residential treatment cottages as needed for staff vacancies or absenteeism of Youth Service Workers. Responsibilities will include: Supervision and monitoring of residents (ages 8 to 21 years of age) in a residential treatment program and provide feedback to Clinical Program Manager. Provide instruction in routine housekeeping skills and meal preparation. Supervise recreational activities. Provide transportation as needed to schools, appointments, shopping, field trips, etc. Liaison with school as needed. Perform resident record keeping in areas of responsibilities. Work Schedule: Varies – must be available to work day shift (7am to 3pm); swing shift (2pm to 11pm); and night shift (11pm to 7am). Must be available to work 40 hours per week. Salary: $10.50 Hourly (days & swing shift), $11.50 Hourly (night shift) Position Status: Part‐time/On‐Call (average 24‐28 hours a week). Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. AA degree (60+ units), or BA degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field preferred. One (1) year of related child care experience is preferred. Youth Service Worker 2NF (1 open, Night Floater for Oak, Aspen, and Redwood) Supervise and monitor children and youth (ages 8 to 19 years) in a residential treatment program and provide feedback to Clinical Program Manager. Assume total responsibility for student supervision. Wake students in morning, prepare breakfast and bag lunches per program schedule. Take supply inventories and perform housekeeping as required. Perform resident record keeping in areas of responsibilities. Work Schedule: Tuesday ‐ Saturday / 11pm to 7am Salary: $11.50/ hour + benefits Position Status: Full‐time Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. BA or AA degree in Social Work, Psychology or related fields preferred. One year of child care related experience preferred. Youth Service Worker 5R (2 open) Fill in for Youth Service Workers on vacation, sick leave, and position vacancies where assigned. Supervise and monitor residents (aged 8 to 21 years of age) in child care residential home and provide feedback to Clinical Program Manager. Provide guidance and scheduling to attain developed goals of residents. Provide transportation driving an 8‐passenger van on city streets and freeways as needed to schools, appointments, shopping, field trips, etc. Liaison with school as needed. Maintain resident records in areas of responsibilities. Work Schedule: Varies – must be available to work day shift (7am to 3pm); swing shift (2pm to 11pm); and night shift (11pm to 7am). Salary: $12.50 per hour plus benefits, raise to $13.00 per hour after six months in position Position Status: Full‐time + benefits Education: BA degree from an accredited University or College in Social Work, Psychology or other related field /OR/ AA degree from an accredited University or College (or 60+ units) and one (1) year of 1 | P a g e paid experience with children in a residential care facility, mental health/counseling setting, county receiving home, Youth Authority camp/facility, juvenile detention facility/county juvenile hall, special education school, foster home, probation or social service department or similar experience working with children /OR/ Two or more years of paid experience with children, as described above. Youth Service Worker 5 (2 open, Oak and Alpine) Supervise and monitor children and youth (ages 8 to 19 years) in a residential treatment program and provide feedback to Clinical Program Manager. Provide guidance and scheduling to attain developed goals of residents. Transport as needed to schools, appointments, shopping, field trips, etc. driving an 8‐passenger van on city streets or freeways. Liaison with school as needed. Maintain resident records in areas of responsibilities. Work Schedule: A Shift – M‐T 2pm‐11pm, W 5pm‐11pm, St 3pm‐11pm, S 7am‐3pm Salary: $12.00/ hour plus benefits Position Status: Full‐time Education: BA in Psychology, Social Welfare or related field desired and may be substituted for the required residential child care experience /OR/ Non‐related BA from an accredited University or College and one year paid experience working with children in a residential or special education setting /OR/ AA degree from an accredited University or College (or 60+ units) and two years of residential child care experience required. Clinical Program Manager – Alpine (1 open) Manage residential program of adolescents and supervise program staff. Conduct individual, family and group therapy. Write treatment plans and case reports. Manage Goal Attainment Point System for residents. Participate in psychiatric consultations/utilization review and peer review/medication reviews. Perform staff training. Provide liaison with schools and attend IEP meetings as needed. Ensure residential program meets State Licensing and Children's Home requirements and standards. Perform on‐call duties on an intermittent basis. Open to MSW interns in the process of being licensed. Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. with hours occasionally needed to complete duties or Agency‐required commitments. Salary: Negotiable based on credentials, supervisory and management experience Position Status: Full‐time Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling (MSC), Psychology (MA) or other related Master's degree, accredited by an established and universally recognized accreditation organization, which would enable the degree holder to sit for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) exam or the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) exam. One year of paid experience or supervised internship (Master=s Level) experience, working with children, in a residential care facility, mental health or counseling setting, county receiving home, Youth Authority camp/facility, juvenile detention facility/county juvenile hall, special education school, foster home, probation or social service department or similar experience, is also required. 2 | P a g e EDUCATION DIVISION Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Independent Contractor, P/T (2 open) Render direct clinical service in a manner to insure maximum benefit to the client. Perform all related clinical activities. The Mental Health Therapist may make full use of Agency resources and outside facilities, as needed. The Mental Health Therapist is expected to perform all duties within currently accepted therapeutic methodologies, and in keeping with Children’s Home of Stockton standards and philosophy. Teacher Assistant (1 will open after we hire a Teacher – see below) Position assists Teacher in Special Education classroom with correcting papers, test, duplicating material, bulletin boards, filing, student supervision and intervention as needed, recording behaviors and student behavior management. Assists with organizing field trips, special events and summer activity programs. Takes over classroom when Teacher is absent and assists in developing curriculum. Other meetings, training, and assignments as required or requested. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday / 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Salary: $12.95 per hour Position Status: Full‐time Education: Minimum of AA Degree or equivalent from a university or college, accredited by an established and universally recognized accreditation organization. Preference will be given to those working towards Special and/or General Education Credentialing or Degree in a related field (Education, Psychology, etc.) Teacher, Special Education (1 open) Plan and implement curriculum in accordance with state requirements and students’ individual education plans. Use behavior modification and classroom management techniques as directed by Agency procedures. Supervise Teacher Assistant; provide communication with student’s parent/care provider; issue grades, report cards, and other student / school records. Monitor, report, discuss and manage student progress toward individual education plan weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday / 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Salary: Based on credentials and experience Position Status: Full‐time Education: Bachelor Degree with Teaching credential (multiple or single subject) with minimum of a mild/moderate credential waiver required. Master’s Degree in Special Education with mild/moderate credential preferred. Degree must be from a university or college, accredited by an established and universally recognized accreditation organization.
