Position: District Coordinator (Clinical School Based Services)
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Position Overview: This position provides direct oversight and coordination of services with
the clinicians and family advocates assigned to the schools in their identified districts. In
addition to supervisory duties, staff will provide clinical mental health services to at-risk
children.
Requirements: All clinical positions require a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or
related field AND BBS registration with one of the following licenses: ACSW, MFTI, MFT,
LCSW to operate as a mental health provider, providing group and 1:1 therapy, assessments,
psycho educational sessions and support groups. Familiarity with assessment, diagnosing and
successful treatment planning required. Clinical supervision is provided for those collecting
hours toward licensure.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Position: Clinician (School Based Services)
Salary: $22.00-24.00 per hour depending on licensure
Position Overview: This position may be assigned to one of the three following programs:
Lodi Unified School District Student and Family Empowerment (SAFE)
Stockton Unified School District Project Prevent
Suicide Prevention
Requirements: The particulars of the position vary depending on the program, but all involve
providing clinical mental health services to at-risk children. Some positions are school based.
All clinical positions require a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field and

Position: Mental Health Specialist
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Position Overview: Mental Health Specialists provide screenings, assessments, interventions,
education and behavior plans to assist children ages 0-5 with social and emotional challenges.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development or related
field is required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Position: Family Advocate
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Position Overview: Family Advocates (FA) will work with enrolled families, providing home
visits, family needs assessments, family goal planning, coordination of parent meetings and
parent workshops. FA’s will work closely with other CAPC staff and programs to support
families in helping their children maintain success.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development or related
field is required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Position: Transitional Age Youth (TAY) Coach
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Position Overview: Coaches will work with youth ages 16-25 to provide intensive mentoring,
support, and case management for youth with emotional and behavioral difficulties who do not
meet the criteria for specialty mental health care. Coaches will utilize the Transition to
Independence (TIP) model to support youth in reaching their goals and preparing for adulthood.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in social services or a closely related
field preferred. Relevant experience working with the identified population a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Position: Preschool Teachers
Infant/Toddler Teachers
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (depending on education and permits)
Position Overview: These positions will implement and oversee all components of a quality
preschool or Infant/Toddler program classroom while working effectively with parents and staff.
The teacher will be responsible for data collection and all accompanying documentation for
his/her classroom.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree AND Site Supervisor permit (or higher) required as issued by
the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
6 additional Infant and Toddler units are required to work with 0-3 population.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Position: Teacher Assistants
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (depending on education and permits)
Position Overview: These positions will support the teachers by implementing all components
of a quality preschool program classroom and support the teachers in the development of age
appropriate activities.
Requirements: Associate’s Degree and Associate Teacher Permit (or higher) is required. Some
sites may require a Site Supervisor permit (or higher) as issued by the California Commission on
Teacher Credentialing.
6 additional Infant and Toddler units are required to work with 0-3 population.
