Registration for Study units by students admitted in October 2016

Students are required to register for study-units to which 60 ECTS are assigned in the Programme of
Study.
The Programme of Studies for the B. Dance St (Hons) and B.Theatre (Hons) can be accessed from this link:
http://www.um.edu.mt/courses/
In any course plan, full-time students shall not register for more than 36 credits in any semester.
The General Regulations for Undergraduate Awards are available on-line on the UoM website for your

Please make sure you abide by the regulations in order to proceed with your studies.
Late Applications (the deadline is still to be announced) are against a fee.
Add/Drop Period: October 2016 (TBC – To be confirmed)
(Adding or cancelling study-units previously registered for on the Registration Form)
Registration Forms are to be submitted to the
Theatre Studies or Dance Studies Secretaries – Room 14/15 (Porto Cabins, Car Park 3)
Those students who register for optional study-units from the list of suitable optional study-units
available here: https://www.um.edu.mt/esims/sits.urd/run/SIW_DMX with a limited number of
students, are to hand in their registration form to the THS/DCS secretary and wait until they input his/her
registration. If limit is exceeded then the student would need to choose another optional study-unit.
Optional study-units registered should be of level 1.

important information regarding the School of Performing Arts programme, Registration forms,
Timetables etc.

4. Please use e-SIMS to update personal information when necessary, registration of credits when
available, viewing of results and course descriptions. It is your responsibility to check the
University e-mail account regularly, as all correspondence will be sent to this account. e-SIMS
needs to be activated by the student once you receive the letter of acceptance.
5. It is your responsibility to abide by the University Course regulations. You are required to register
for 60 ECTS per year.
