Hold a monthly Saturday Market open to Fresno State staff, faculty and students to market their wares.
CURRENT CHALLENGE:
I was thinking of a monthly Saturday Market in maybe the parking lot of Savemart. This would be open to Fresno
State Staff, Faculty and Students to market their wares. To show Fresno that not only are we smart and talented but
we have interests outside of our positions at Fresno State.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
The students would be able to market the skills they have learned out our college where it be business planning or
ceramic pots, paintings or art of any kind. Someone you may want to support someone here for collegiality reasons. If
someone makes candy, sells makeup or beauty products, has a side job catering to events, repairs computers, etc. let’s
go with our college friends. The entrepreneurs from the business department could market their ideas in friendly
surroundings.
