Comhairle nan Eilean Siar
In September 2010, HM Inspectors published a report on your child’s school. Since
then, inspectors have returned to the school three times to look at how it has continued
to improve its work. Following these visits, further letters to parents were published in
August 2011, 2012 and 2013. In June 2014, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar provided us
with a progress report which outlined the improvements the school has continued to
make.
After reviewing the evidence and in discussion with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, we are
now confident the school has the capacity to continue to improve. We will make no
further visits to the school in connection with the inspection report of September 2010.
As part of on-going liaison between Education Scotland and Comhairle nan Eilean
Siar, our Area Lead Officer will continue to monitor the school’s progress.
