Resolutions are adopted at a Conference,
Assembly, Council and reflect the decision
of Member States
Resolution is not an instrument of the
Union but contains guiding principles

decisions of MS, invite Secretary General
to act on certain areas, etc

ongoing activities of mainly SGs2, 3, 17 and TSAG
Res.55 on “Gender issues in ITU-T” has been revised and
completed in depth, encouraging the inclusion of gender
perspective in the work of all ITU-T activities
