Please be aware that this event is aimed at all sectors, to take consideration of progression
and the 3-18 learning opportunities, and as such there will be a mix of early years, primary
and secondary staff and partner providers. The focus will be on developing learning and
teaching approaches as well as offering practical ideas that can be transferred to your local
setting.
This is a valuable, affordable CPD opportunity for staff in the partner local authorities, at just
£50 to cover the cost of accommodation and food for the duration of the course. Schools
would need to meet any cover costs as unfortunately this cannot be provided.
If you are interested and free to attend, please email your name, school or setting, role and
authority to joan.reilly@educationscotland.gov.uk by Friday 24th August 2012.
http://www.abernethy.org.uk/uploads/kitlistallcentres.pdf provides you with a suggested
kit list (though we won’t be involved in adventure activities).
