Types of crime: Resources
Pupil task
Working in groups of three or four you are going to investigate one type of crime. Once you have
completed your investigation you will present your findings to the rest of the class. You will be
responsible for the learning of everyone in your class so it is important your findings are accurate.
Your presentation should contain:




Type of crime
Statistics about the level of the type of crime in Scotland
What impact your type of crime has on individuals, victims and community
At least one case study of your type of crime
Your case study should include:






The type of crime
Where it happened
Detailed information about the incident
Details of the perpetrator
Details of the victim (if applicable/known)
Punishment given (if known)
