Cooperative Agreement between Touro University International (an on-line university) and Cabrillo College A Cooperative Agreement between Touro University International (an on-line university) and Cabrillo College and will be in place from June, 2007 to June, 2010. Touro University recognizes the desirability of community college graduates to be able to transfer from community college upon award of the Associate’s degree to the appropriate Bachelor’s degree program at TUI. Specifically: 1. Students with the AA/AS degree in the following will be able to transfer into the TUI Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Degree Completion concentration: Accounting & Finance General Business Criminal Justice Economics Political Science Sociology 2. Students with the AA/AS degree in the following will be able to transfer into the Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or the Computer Science Degree Completion concentrations: Computer/Business Applications Computer Support Specialist Computer Science 3. Students with the AA/AS degree in the following will be able to transfer into the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Degree Completion concentrations: Computer Networking and System Administration 4. Students with the AA/AS degree in the following will be able to transfer into the Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Professional Degree Completion concentrations: Health Science/Community Health Dental Hygiene* Human Services Medical Assistant Sociology Women’s Studies Radiologic Technology** 5. TUI will accept transfer of up to 60-68 equivalent semester credits or as indicated from the Associate’s degree awarded by community college into the appropriate TUI Bachelor’s degree program as defined in the Introduction section of this agreement. 6. A minimum overall GPA of 2.0 in transfer credits is required for transfer into the Bachelor’s degree completion programs in Business Administration, Computer Science and Information Technology Management. 7. A minimum overall GPA of 2.5 in transfer credits is required for transfer into the Bachelor’s degree completion programs in Health Sciences. 8. Transfer students must complete at least 60 semester credits at TUI; however, the specific number of credits required for completion at TUI are determined on an individual basis (students will be individually assessed and advised) 9. *Dental Hygiene: In addition to the AS degree, students must also hold a current license or certificate with transferable upper division credits from a recognized Dental Hygiene program as well as current First Aid and CPR Certificates. 10. **Radiologic Technology: In addition to the AS degree, students must also hold a current license or certificate with transferable upper division credits from a recognized Radiology Technology program as well as current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
