GAIT A and B Final Update The five year College Strategic Plan (CSP) was updated in 2014-2015 and adopted by the board on June 9, 2014 (http://www.cabrillo.edu/services/pro/strategicPlanning/). This new plan replaced the previous strategic plan with two institutional goals: A. Student Success B. Institutional Effectiveness Goal Area Implementation Teams (GAITs) were formed for each goal, and the teams (GAIT A and GAIT B) determined a short list of specific objectives under each high-level goal. An update was prepared and presented to the Governing Board on June 11, 2012. To ensure a smooth transition between the plans, the GAIT teams were convened in spring 2015 to provide final updates and linkages to the new strategic plan. GAIT A met March 28, 2014 and GAIT B met May 1, 2014. Goal A1 Goal Description Implement the Student Success Initiative.
