any problems
No problems encountered
B. Any Learning Resources problems which have affected the provision of the Module (quality of lecture or tutorial
rooms, laboratory or IT facilities and action taken or planned
No problems encountered, however the current budget of £250 for research expenses will have to be increased in future
years. Discussions are ongoing with the HoD.
C. Issues identified by students (from questionnaires, staff-student committees etc.) and action taken or planned
No problems reported.
D. Issues identified by External Examiners and action taken or planned
Uneven workload for supervisors. In some ways this is inevitable since some areas will be more popular than
others. However, I have strongly encouraged all staff to submit projects, with some success in 2014/15. This
means that the current year at least should have a more even spread. As student numbers increase this will be
an increasingly difficult issue and I suggest that it becomes mandatory for all staff to submit at least one topic for
MSci/MSc projects.
