DD214 – Military Credit for Discharge Cabrillo College policy Cabrillo will accept a veteran’s DD214 for credit toward Cabrillo’s non‐
transferable AA or non‐transferable AS degrees AND for our transferable CSU AA degree as follows: 3 units for Area E, Lifelong Learning and Self Development If students are using DD214 for CSU, they must have their general education fully certified before transfer. The DD214 does not have to be “official”. Admissions and Records will make a copy of the student’s documentation for counseling to put in a student’s file. This is sufficient documentation to apply this credit toward the degree petition and for GE certification. Approved by Academic Council 4/18/2011
