Cabrillo College Constitution Day Celebration
Thursday, September 16, 2010, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. , The Sesnon House
APTOS, CA— Join the Cabrillo College Constitution Day celebration by engaging in
a lively discussion on timely, topical issues and their legislative impact with political
scientist Rory O’Brien and History Program Chair Dr. Michael Mangin. Cabrillo’s
Constitution Day celebration will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 34:30 p.m. at the historic Sesnon House on the Cabrillo College Aptos campus.
All students, members of the public and the Cabrillo College community are invited
to take part in this important civic event. Admission is free.
Those who attend will learn about the philosophical and legal foundations of our
federal government. The program will open with a welcome from Cabrillo College
President Dr. Brian King. The Cabrillo College student singing group, Il Dolce
Suono, led by Cheryl Anderson, will inspire attendees with a performance of the
National Anthem.
After a brief discussion on specific issues regarding the Constitution, the
conversation will open up to everyone in the room.
