Q-1 Does Cabrillo have any FPPs which are awaiting state funds?
NO.
Q-2. If so, is the District holding matching funds in hopes of a 2014 GO bond?
NOT APPLICABLE
Q-3. What is the remaining balance of the bond funds?
THE REMAINING BALANCE IS APPROXIMATELY $5.5 MILLION.
Q-4. Section C-4b) requires resumes for proposed key staff. Does the
proposed Project Manager need
to be a licensed Civil Engineer, certified in the State of CA, or licensed
architect?
FOR PROJECT MANAGER NEITHER LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION IS
REQUIRED.
Q-5. Also, what criteria for the Project Manager are required, i.e. minimum 1015 years of experience on
similar type projects? Please clarifY.
FIVE YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE OR MORE WILL BE VALUED
BY THE REVIEW COMMITTEE.
Q-6. Section C-5a) states that four recent clients need to be referenced. Can
we provide four separate and distinct projects for one client, i.e. Hartnell
College, which is similar in nature and relevance to the work scope described
in the RFP? Or doe we need to provide for four separate and distinct
clients (over the last 5-years)?

HOWEVER, IT MAY NOT FULLY GIVE A REPRESENTATIVE REFERENCE

Q-7. There is no page limit for the RFP – please clarify if there is one.
CONCISE, ACCURATE RESPONSES ARE VALUED; HOWEVER, THERE IS
NO FORMAL PAGE LIMIT FOR THIS RFP.
Q-8. Do you need 3 copies plus 1 original of the fee proposal all in
one separate envelope, which in turn is placed in the "sealed package"?
or....One sealed package as noted, and a separate envelope with 3 copies/1
original of the fee proposal? or....Something else?
PUT ONE ORIGINAL AND THREE COPIES OF THE FEE PROPOSAL IN A
SINGLE SEPARATE, SEALED ENVELOPE AND PLACE INSIDE OF THE
SEALED PACKAGE THAT CONTAINS ALL OF THE PROPOSAL.
Q-9. Also, are we free to bind the copies in something other than three ring
binders or spiral binders? (Reference: p. 12: "One (1) unbound original and
three (3) bound copies..."
WHILE THREE-RING BINDERS OR SPIRAL BINDERS ARE USUAL, ANY
METHOD THAT MAINTAINS SEQUENCE AND FACILITATES USE OF
TABS AND EASE OF USE WILL BE ACCEPTED.
