SPRING 2011 ENROLMMENT: Get Started Now!
Steps for Spring Enrollment:







Pick up a curriculum guide from the Academic and Career
Information Center (Holton 014) and bring it to your
meeting with your PILOTS advisor.
Make an appointment to see your PILOTS advisor to
prepare a class schedule (bright yellow form).
Make an appointment to see your academic advisor and
take the yellow form for his/her review and suggestions.
Your academic advisor MUST sign your yellow
enrollment form and take off the advising hold on your
iSIS account.
Return the yellow form to your PILOTS advisor as soon
as possible - do NOT lose it!
Log on to iSIS to:
1. Find out your exact enrollment date and time
Your enrollment date is based on the number of
completed credit hours, not the number of credits
you are enrolled in.
2. Complete the Alcohol 101 Survey
3. Complete the Advisor Survey (academic advisor)
Ensure that you do not have any holds on your account
from any office on campus, except Academic Assistance. If
you have any holds, clear them or consult with your
PILOTS advisor - otherwise you will not be able to enroll.
Enroll in BH 116 on your scheduled date and time. Your
PILOTS advisor will be available to assist you. Make sure
you print your class schedule for the Spring 2011 semester.
Note: Freshmen can enroll as early as November 10;
however, because there are several steps involved in the
planning process you must start NOW!
How do I know who my academic advisor is?
MERITORIOUS PERFORMANCE
AWARDS
A few times each semester, the PILOTS team recognizes a
select number of PILOTS students. These students deserve
special recognition for their hard work, successful class
performance, positive attitude, determination to succeed, and
many other factors.
The following PILOTS students were nominated: Lail
Ariath, Paige Farmer, Jacob Miller, Danielle Richardson,
Rutherford Sanford, and Danielle Thomas.
Winners
Jaccare Givens
He has all the ingredients that make a student successful: he
shows up, he works hard, he has a goal, he is enthusiastic,
and he takes advantage of his campus resources. These
attitudes and behaviors will get him what he wants out of
college. He is especially an inspiration for any student who
comes to K-State from another part of the country. Keep it
up, Jaccare! We are all rooting for you.
Laurel Lauer
Laurel is a hard-working, dedicated student whose positive
attitude is contagious. She uses the resources at hand, such
as the lab, to study efficiently and do well in her classes.
Laurel balances her school and work demands very well.
