Dipendra Manocha Where are the gaps and how can we plug these for persons who cannot read normal print Abstract Majority of population of persons with print disabilities in developing countries is falling through the cracks. DAISY Consortium conducted a survey to clearly identify these cracks. The survey results covering twenty-four countries and seventy Languages from Asia and Africa identifies key gap areas in technology and infrastructure that makes it impossible for persons with print disabilities to be part of the digital revolution. We would also like to share some use cases to demonstrate how these gaps can be plugged. Cases of: new phase and new face of ICT training; mainstreaming accessibility in digital publishing. TTS solutions for Indian Languages and Iceland will demonstrate how cost effective solutions can bring about change in shortest possible time.
