Language proficiency for undergraduate admission
To be admitted to K-State without proof of English proficiency, you
will take the English Proficiency Test, or EPT, upon arrival. These
results will determine whether you will study English full or part time,
or begin full-time university courses. Review your EPT waiver options
at k-state.edu/oip/intlpreadmit/languageproficiency.htm. ACT
or SAT scores may be used as proof of English proficiency, however
international applicants are not required to submit these scores
unless they plan to apply for scholarships.
