CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF RULEMAKING AMERICAN UNIVERSITY 2007 Events Federal Regulatory Seminar Hosted by the National Academy of Public Administration February 13–16, 2007 2006 Events In 2006, the Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law of the House Judiciary Committee conducted a comprehensive review of administrative law, process and procedure. As part of this project, two events were held to illuminate critical aspects of rulemaking and to promote public awareness of the Subcommittee’s work on this most important instrument of law and policy. Discussion focused upon the relationships between and among the branches of the federal government that have profound effects on the process and results of rulemaking.
