Students can self-nominate for any of these awards. Nominations must be submitted through this online form by March 31. Please complete one form per student. Resumes/CVs and/or other supporting documents should be emailed to sisstudentawards@gmail.com. SIS Student Awards nominations are reviewed by an awards committee, which makes final recommendations in consultation with the Dean. Fall and Summer 2014 Registration and Express Advising Advance registration for graduate students is now open for the for the fall and summer 2014 semesters. For more information, please review the Registration Information and FAQs. Advisors will begin holding Express Advising hours through Friday, March 28. For Express Advising schedules, please visit: http://www.american.edu/sis/gradadvising/ Registration Deadline for April TOR exam (April 7-11): March 28 Students planning to take the free Tool of Research exam to fulfill the SIS MA language requirement (http://www.american.edu/sis/gradadvising/language.cfm ) should be aware that the last exam period for the spring 2014 semester will be held April 7-11, 2014, For more information on the TOR exam and to register: http://www.american.edu/cas/clear/tor.cfm. The last day to register for the April exam is Friday, March 28. Spring 2014 Graduation Application Deadline: March 30 Students planing to complete all program requirements this semester must apply to graduate via their myAU portal (under Academics – Apply to Graduate) no later than March 30. We recommend that you complete the application as soon as possible so that your advisor can begin reviewing your graduation eligibility. The application takes less than 5 minutes. Listen and participate with a panel of experts and staff from across USIP. This event is a great opportunity to network with AU alumni currently working at USIP and ask them questions about careers, resumes, and more. The day will end with an exclusive tour of USIP and a networking reception. Space is limited, so those interested should register as soon as possible.
