The competition is open to women who are full-time juniors attending a four-year college in the United States or Canada who aren’t scheduled to graduate before May 2011. Student athletes may enter and win the competition, but special accommodations will be made to comply with National Collegiate Athletic Association rules. Each winner receives a $3,000 cash prize and a three-night trip to New York, including round-trip coach airfare from the major airport nearest her home. Approximate retail value of the prize is $4,500, depending on the exact itinerary. Winner must be able to travel to New York on the date determined by Glamour or an alternate winner may be selected. Prize is not transferable. No substitutions for prize except by sponsor, in which a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.
