Community-Based Learning Partners
Interested in connecting your course with a local community issue? Visit the Center for
Community Engagement & Service (Mary Graydon Center, room 264/273) to learn about
area nonprofit organizations and schools seeking direct service and project based support.
Meg Rego, the Program Coordinator for Community-Based Learning (rego@american.edu),
is available to connect your areas of interest and skills with established community
partners. You can also stop by the Community Service Fair on Wednesday, January 21st
from 2:30-5:00 in MGC 200 to hear from over 20 nonprofit agencies seeking support.
