Introduction The Corporate Plan 2012-15: small government, big society, sets out the council’s strategic priorities for the next four years. This report presents the document Annual Action Plan 2012/13 DRAFT for consultation. 2. The Plan This document is the first Annual Action Plan, giving detail of how the priorities in the Corporate Plan will be realised over the forthcoming 12 months from 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2013. The Plan will also be presented to Overview and Scrutiny Committee. 3. Consultation This Plan will be put out to consultation with Parish and Town Councils and other local bodies shortly after your meeting to ensure that local communities are involved and engaged with District Council actions. The proposed amendments will then come before Cabinet and Full Council in April for final approval. 4. Implications and Risks The Plan will be risk assessed and risks identified and appropriate controls built into the Corporate Risk Register and Service Risk Management processes. 5. Financial Implications and Risks The Plan will be risk assessed and financial risks identified and appropriate controls built into the Corporate Risk Register, Service Risk Management and the Budget management processes. 6. Sustainability The Plan contains a number of actions that will increase sustainability of the Community, Economy and Environment and we do not anticipate any adverse impacts. 7. Equality and Diversity The Plan contains a number of actions specifically targeted to improve equality and diversity. 8. Section 17 Crime and Disorder considerations The Plan will have no adverse impact on crime and disorder.
