Licensing Team 01263 516189 licensing@north-norfolk.gov.uk North Norfolk District Council is the Licensing Authority under the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of Premises licences for the sale of alcohol or regulated entertainment. Description and Location of Premises 2.1. The premises comprises a main house providing tea room/café, bed and breakfast and conference facilities. The premises also includes the Storage Barn, the Avery, the Shire Barn, the Courtyard Hall, the Stables and Outbuildings with courtyard parking all set in approximately 8 acres of private land. 2.2. The premises is accessed off Bacton Road and is adjacent to a caravan site and poultry farm. Licensing Sub-Committee 22nd July 2011 3. Licensing History 3.1 The premises on this site have not been licensed in recent years. 4. The Application 4.1 The application was made by a partnership of Kevin Fleming and Tracey Hipperson trading as Ketra holdings, seeking a premises licence to serve guests staying at the property or visiting for food or functions. 4.2 The application seeks the following permissions from Monday to Sunday 0800hrs to 0100hrs 5. • Sale of alcohol on and off the premises. • The provision of regulated entertainment including: plays, films, indoor sporting events, live music, recorded music, performance of dance, entertainment similar to live music, recorded music or performances of dance, facilities for making music , facilities for dancing, facilities similar to making music and dancing. Recommendations 6.1. The Sub Committee is asked to consider and determine this application. 6.2. When considering this application the Sub Committee will need to have regard to the North Norfolk District Council Licensing Policy and to statutory guidance under the Licensing Act 2003 issued by the Secretary of State 6.3. In determining this application the Sub Committee may take the following actions: ° Grant the application ° Grant the application subject to conditions ° Refuse the application 6.4. This application must be determined and notified to the applicant within 5 working days from the conclusion of the hearing. 7. Appeals 7.1.
