SUMMER SESSION 2016 SCHEDULE

All courses are blended with some portion presented in face-to-face classroom settings while some portion of the courses utilizes
out-of-class online learning tools. All students will be expected to attend scheduled classes as well as complete the online assignments
as required. All classes are based on eight face-to-face class sessions both in Summer Session 1 and 2.
SESSION 1: May 10 – July 1, 2016
Classes meet face to face for 8 weeks on the nights indicated commencing the week of May 11 thru the week of July 1.
Classes meet 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Classes are supplemented with out of class online assignments.

If a student does not log in at all, or does not participate academically in the course (see below), the course
would be considered dropped within the add/drop period, and there would be no fee for the course.
Conversely, if it is demonstrated that the student academically participated in the course after the add/drop
period, they would be responsible for the full course charges.
Rules for documenting academic participation would be consistent with those prescribed under federal
regulations for determining withdrawal from a course for federal financial aid purposes. Examples of academic
participation are: submission of an assignment, submission of an exam, posting to an on-line study group or
discussion forum, or contact with a faculty member to ask a question about the academic subject of the
course.
