What is a Bill Payment Period (BPP)? SSW 2016-2017 The Department of Education requires the disbursement of federal funds based upon a Bill Payment Period. For many programs with standard length academic terms, a Bill Payment Period is equal to the length of an academic term. Since the Smith School for Social Work is a program with academic terms substantially unequal in length, please see the chart below for details of the SSW BPPs. Tuition is assessed 50/50 per BPP. Please see Other SSW Program Fees under Tuition and Fees and also Plan for Major Bill Due Dates under Student Accounts for more info on other charges & their bill due date/s, if applicable.
