on Road Safety Bill [HL]

On 01/11/2006 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an
amendment to the Road Safety Bill [HL]: To insist to insert a clause requiring the
government to ensure that new heavy goods vehicles should be fitted with retroreflective tape but that the government should make regulations by 31st
December 2007.
This was defeat number 60 in the parliamentary session.
