On 13/07/2006 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an
amendment to the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill: To insert a
clause introducing new scrutiny measures for Orders in Council: a draft must be
laid before each House of Parliament for approval and may suggest and make
amendments.
This was defeat number 52 in the parliamentary session.
