On 13/07/2006 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an
amendment to the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill: To remove a
clause that would allow the acceptance of political donations from anybody
holding Irish citizenship (outside of Northern Ireland).
This was defeat number 51 in the parliamentary session.
