On 21/04/2008 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an
amendment to the Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill: To insert a freedom of
expression clause which asserts that the discussion or criticism of sexual conduct
or practices shall not in itself be deemed threatening or intending to incite
hatred.
