On 15/06/2009 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an
amendment to the Political Parties and Elections Bill: To require that donors to
political parties are resident in the United Kingdom for the purposes of the Income Tax
Act 2007 and are not non-domiciled UK residents.
This was defeat number 13 in the parliamentary session.
